What to do after my sender verification for WhatsApp was declined?
The Case
You got to the sender verification step, but you keep getting declined. It is important to understand that the lack of verification does not limit the use of the sender. Messaging works with or without sender verification.
Steps To Take
In case of sender verification issues, here are some steps that can improve the chances of the sender getting verified:
Step 1: Make sure you provided valid webpage and Facebook page information
Step 2: In case your Facebook page is not verified (doesn’t have a blue badge), proceed with FB page verification
Step 3: Complete the Meta Business verification process
Step 4: Your business must be notable and reputable with a presence in a country
Step 5: Your account must be Tier 2 (10K unique customers) or above in terms of messaging level
Step 6: See that your webpage has a secure connection (HTTPS instead of HTTP)
NOTE
Sender verification cannot be guaranteed, as WhatsApp has the full right to approve or decline sender verification. The good news is that even in case rejection details or reasoning has not been shared with you, you can still reapply again after 30 days.
