How to request a green badge for a WhatsApp sender?
To request a green badge (checkmark) that represents a WhatsApp Official Business Account (OBA), you must first have a verified business account. Learn more about business verification.
If your business is already verified, then you can request the Official Business Account. This process is also known as sender verification.
To get started, open WhatsApp Account Manager and select the phone number for which you want to request the Official Business Account.
You will need to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) and provide supporting information to show that your account represents an authentic and notable business.
Keep in mind that we cannot guarantee that your account will be granted OBA, as it’s completely on the WhatsApp side.
