What information is needed for sender registration?
The Case
When it comes to using your number as a sender for WhatsApp, you’ll need to register it with Meta as a WhatsApp Cloud sender. To be able to do that there are certain mandatory information you will have to provide.
Steps To Take
Step 1: Prepare mandatory information for sender registration
These include:
- Your company name
- A Facebook business account with administrator access.
- A verified phone number not connected to any other WhatsApp account, private or business.
- A formal display name that is going to be visible to the end users.

Step 2: Prepare additional information for a better user experience
Some information that would also be useful to share:
- Something about your company as a short summary
- Location address as additional information and a sign of credibility
