How do I use SMS for two-way messaging?

To start sending two-way SMS messages, you will need to buy a number. If you plan to send messages to different countries, you will need to buy a separate number for each country.

There are two options:

1. Virtual long number (VLN): Most commonly used, cost-effective 12-digit number that’s quick to set up and use.
2. Short code: A memorable 5- to 6-digit number with higher cost and longer setup time, able to handle a higher messaging throughput.
