WhatsApp reports and insights
Use the Infobip analytics tools to track and analyze WhatsApp performance across conversations, campaigns, and chatbots. Insights are available through the web interface, as well as API reporting and integrations with Answers, Broadcast, Conversations, and Moments.
Analytics and reporting options
- Answers: Track chatbot performance across WhatsApp and other channels. View handover metrics, resolution rates, and intent accuracy. For more information, visit Answers analytics.
- Broadcast: Analyze WhatsApp delivery rates, click-throughs, and failures for message template campaigns. For details, refer to Broadcast performance.
- Conversations: Monitor agent and customer interactions, average handling time, first response time, and CSAT scores. For more, visit Conversations analytics.
- Moments: Use built-in flow metrics to measure WhatsApp campaign performance across conversion steps. See Moments metrics.
- API: Use the Subscriptions Management API (opens in a new tab) to receive the delivery, seen, and engagement events in real time.
Delivery and seen reports
You can configure delivery tracking for every WhatsApp message:
- Delivery reports confirm that your message reached the recipient's device.
- Seen reports confirm that the recipient viewed the message.
Reports are sent to your global webhook URL or can be customized per message using the notifyURL parameter.

URL shortening and click tracking
To measure engagement with URLs in WhatsApp messages, you can enable:
- URL shortening: Reduces long URLs to branded or neutral short links.
- Click tracking: Captures user interactions with links (click count, time).
URL tracking requires shortening to be enabled first.
